DRILL
Spin Out of Trouble
  • Purpose
To avoid a tackle, players can change direction by sidestepping and spinning their body around 180 degrees. After this spin, the player may still be held and need to quickly dispose of the ball by hand. This drill practices handballing to a constant loud voice of a teammate while slightly disoriented after a spin.
