    Warm-up with some driving sideways movements and a change of direction before a pass.

  • Pair-up and allocate each 1/6 of the court. Players start between cones (1 & 2), 3m apart.
  • Start at medium intensity. (A) runs to cone (1), then performs a change of direction back to the centre to receive a pass from (B)
    Plant foot wide when changing direction for more effective weight transfer
    Try to minimise jarring
  • (B) does the same, running to (1) and back to the middle to receive.
  • Next time around, (A & B) run to (2) and back to receive.
  • Rest after 30 seconds. You can either repeat as before, or progress by widening cones (1 & 2) and/or increasing distance between (A & B).
