  • Pair-up and find 5m of width in front of a wall. Elect a worker (A) and feeder (B) who stands up to 5m from the wall
  • Feeder (B) stands behind (A) and throws the ball into the wall. The rebound must be caught by (A)
Initially make the rebounds relatively simple to catch
    (A) protects the landing zone and jumps to catch
  • (A) passes back to (B) and both players hastily return to starting positions
  • Repeat the (B throws rebound, A catches & returns pass) pattern, but as time progresses, increase the difficulty of catching
Throw firm, high-angled passes to make (A) scramble backwards
Throw flat and hard, rebounding directly at (A) for practising sharp hands
Throw short or wide so (A) must lunge for it
  • (A) works for 1 minute. Swap roles and repeat.
