  • Each group needs a 5m square setup. (A, B & C) occupy 3 of the 4 cones, defender (D) starts in the middle.
  • The key concept is for the two players without the ball to provide options at the cones on either side of the player with the ball.
The cone diagonally opposite to the player with the ball should be vacant
  • (A, B & C) move to the spare cones to create a passing option. Players may pass left or right around the square, but not diagonally across it.
Voice is key to helping decide correct passing option
The ball must be caught with one foot touching the cone
  • (D) works hard to pressure the passer and also attempt to intercept
    (D) works really hard, so will tire quickly
If (D) effects a turnover, reset and restart in the same roles
  • Rotate defender after 45 seconds; repeat until all players have a turn defending.
