Mark three lanes lengthways down the court. Form 2 teams and assign attackers and defenders. Competing pairs spread amongst the outside lanes, within range of a lead to (C) who starts in the centre.
On 'go!', attacking team members run up-and-down their outside lane, with a view to leading towards (C). If they can get past their defender, they can lead into (C)'s middle lane to receive.
(C) has no opponent
Attackers must receive in middle lane
Attackers must immediately exit the middle lane after their lead
Defenders ensure their direct opponent cannot get an easy pass by keeping between them and (C)
This skill involves fasts feet to shadow their opponent
To assist (C), attackers shouldn't call for the ball until they've gotten past
Passive attackers should be constantly adjusting their position in the outside lane to become the next passing option
After a completed pass, pass back to (C) - who can receive anywhere in the middle lane - then exit the middle lane
Continue with alternative passes between (C) and outside players. The attacking team keep going until 3 incomplete passes, or held-ball decisions
Sub-on players after turnovers as needed
Swap attacking and defending teams and repeat.
