For each pair, form a grid using 9 cones, with adjacent cones 3m apart. Pairs choose a feeder (A) and worker (B).
(B) completes 4 x mini-triangles. Starting towards the north-east corner and working clockwise:-
(B) runs segment (1) diagonally to the next corner in sequence
At the corner, plant the outer foot and change direction then run outer segment (2)
The third segment sees (B) working back to the centre, which involves a 1-2 pass initiated by (A) in the middle
(B) continues in the same fashion around the square.
(B) should never lose sight of (A), therefore must look over their shoulder when running segments (1 & 2)
After the first lap, (B) reverses direction and does another lap.
Swap (B) and (A), repeat.
You have the options to vary intensity:-
Sprint every segment
Divide square into 4 and have 25%-50%-75%-100% intensity corners to build, then recover.
Advanced level progression (or start with this, if short of cones): Have 2 pairs working each square, with workers starting towards diagonally opposite corners
2 x feeder (A)'s will be back-to-back
This requires some synchronicity between workers to avoid chaos
