  • Pick two evenly matched teams, give one centre pass honours. Up to 7 v 7 start on the court, however you can use as few as 5 v 5 - in which case limit playing zone to 2/3 of the court.
  • Attacking team must work the ball down-court with passing, however the following differences to normal rules apply:-
Players can run anywhere with the court (including goal circles)
Players - except (C) - can only receive one pass
    (C) restarts with throw-in from baseline (or defensive transverse line if 5 v 5).
  • After any player - except (C) - passes, they must stop in their tracks and take no further part, as does their defender.
Create some system (like a hand in the air) to make it clear who has already been used.
    (C) remains active throughout and can pass unlimited times.
  • Attack will need to be quite direct, or the attacking team risk become stranded with nobody left to pass to.
  • Attackers have 2 turns (down-court, then back up-court), restarting from baseline (12+ players) or defensive transverse line (10). Then swap attacking and defending team and sub-on players if necessary. Optionally rotate the (C).
If a turnover occurs, the turn ends; restart from opposite end.
Optionally keep score by calling out after each goal.
