  • Create a 5-7m square playing area, choose 2 attackers and 3 defenders who start on court, the remainder sub off.
  • The attacking pair must pass to one another while being defended by 3 defenders. To make it a little more even, one defender must pressure the passer - 3 defenders can't 'triple team' the free attacker
The other 2 defenders must be clever and coordinated in the way they defend the space
For novice / juniors teams, relax the 3-second rule
  • Coach counts the number of consecutive passes completed by the attackers.
  • Once a turnover is made, pause play and prepare for the next contest as follows:-
If you have 6+ players, the player who threw the bad pass subs-off and is replaced by an inactive player who'll join as a defender
  • Choose 2 new attackers for the next turn. Restart and try to beat the highest tally of complete passes.
