  • Pairs stand approximately 3m apart facing one another, with 4-5m of space to the next pair. Player (A) works the sidelines / baselines.
  • (A & B) exchange chest passes while moving clockwise or (anti-clockwise as per diagram) around the court.
Always face your partner and a quick side-step
Pass slightly ahead of player so movement is fluent
Try to retain spacing between pairs. (A) must speed-up while (B) tread waters around corners so (A) can make up the extra distance without delaying other pairs
  • After 20-30 seconds of travelling in one direction, shout 'change!' which signals a change of direction.
  • Progression for intermediate teams: (B) moves to be 5m inside the court. Use shoulder passes.
Shoulder passes are quite challenging to throw accurately with while moving sideways.
