Mark 2 lines - length option. (A & B) are 3m apart, (A) about 2m ahead of (B). Even numbers behind each and distribute balls to line (A)
(B) makes a straight lead to receive (A)'s pass.
After passing, (A) quickly provides a straight lead for (B).
Passes back-and-forth must be slightly in-front, so they're caught without losing momentum
The catcher mustn't wait for the ball (passed too laterally)
Footwork and quick leading is key to fluency of motion
Once the pair reaches the transverse line, next pair start. Pair continues for the length of the line. Lines reform here for the return journey.
Progression 1: Pairs start 5m apart to increase passing difficulty
Progression 2: Have 4's working across the court (remove the lanes and 1 ball works the entire width of the court )
