  • Mark 2 lines - length option. (A & B) are 3m apart, (A) about 2m ahead of (B). Even numbers behind each and distribute balls to line (A)
  • (B) makes a straight lead to receive (A)'s pass.
  • After passing, (A) quickly provides a straight lead for (B).
  • Passes back-and-forth must be slightly in-front, so they're caught without losing momentum
The catcher mustn't wait for the ball (passed too laterally)
Footwork and quick leading is key to fluency of motion
  • Once the pair reaches the transverse line, next pair start. Pair continues for the length of the line. Lines reform here for the return journey.
  • Progression 1: Pairs start 5m apart to increase passing difficulty
  • Progression 2: Have 4's working across the court (remove the lanes and 1 ball works the entire width of the court )
