  • Assign one or two specialist goal shooters. One GS is active every contest, as are 4 other players who start at (WA / GA / GD / GK), remaining players sit out. Only GS and GK can inhabit the circle.
  • (GA & WA) start in the centre and pass amongst one another, defended by (GD)
  • The key to this drill is the pass across the cicle. In this example, (WA) has the ball on the left side. (GK) takes a front defensive stance, meaning (GS) will have front position with an entry from the far side.
  • (GA) runs towards the opposite corner to receive a long ball across the circle from (WA).
(GS) holds to keep the (GK) from slipping around and taking front position
  • The final pass into (GS) should be received with a set and lunge.
  • Take a shot, sub extras in, rotate roles (except GS if you only have one specialist shooter), reset, repeat.
