  • Groups of 4, assign each group one specialist GS. Use both ends of the court simulataneously if available to reduce idle time. Groups choose a defender (GK) and (GS) - these are the only players who can enter the circle.
  • Simulating a centre pass, attackers (GA & WA) progress down-court with passes back-and-forth.
(GA & WA) can pass as many times as they like.
  • When in range, (GS) uses goalie preliminary moves such as roll-off - roll-around - up-and-back move - hold to receive a pass as close to the post as possible
(GK) attempts to intercept or tip
  • Take a shot, return to centre, repeat.
  • (GA & WA) should vary the angle of their approach, including entering from outside the 45 marks. This involves:-
(GS) standing far side of approaching ball carrier (WA)
(WA) passes over the circle with a lob pass to (GA) in the opposite corner. them
(GA) then has an easy pass to (GS) who holds prime position on the baseline near the post
  • After 3 turns, sub extras in and rotate roles (GS can optionally remain specialist shooter)
