  • Split into pairs of equal stature and create a 5m square for each; pairs choose dodger (A) and tagger (B)
  • Dodger (A) must evade tagger (B) by running around inside the confines of the playing area
    (A) must dodge and deceive (B) to wrong-foot them
    (B) must be light on their feet to react to any change of direction
    (A) should stay out of corners
  • (B) must tag (A) below the shoulders, and decent contact must be made by several fingers or a palm: a single fingertip doesn't count!
Every time (B) tags, they call out their tally of tags
  • After 1 minute swap roles; try to beat the other player's score.
Use a (stop)watch to keep the time.
  • Progression: Tags must be to the player's back/backside.
This makes it harder for the defender.
