Make this a race if you have 10 or more (you'll need 2 even numbered teams). Otherwise (min 5 / max 7) start on court, sub extras off. Each line spans the length of the court. Players spread out evenly and face the ball holder (A) whose back is turned
On 'go!', (A) - who is facing away from (B) - throws in the air to themself (or off a wall), catches and turns towards (B)
Passes should be hard and flat
(B) makes a late straight lead to receive from (A), then continues progress by passing to leading (C).
Don't lead too early, just 3 or 4 steps
Use sound two-handed catch technique
All players lead, receive, pivot and pass until the final player receives. Final player throws off a wall or performs a (1-2) pass with off-court coach/sub which they catch on baseline.
Return the ball up-court in a similar fashion.
If you're racing, optionally (or as a progression) require a successful a shot on goal to win, in which case last player remains close to the post.
Races can be up-and-back, or just one way.
