  • Make this a race if you have 10 or more (you'll need 2 even numbered teams). Otherwise (min 5 / max 7) start on court, sub extras off. Each line spans the length of the court. Players spread out evenly and face the ball holder (A) whose back is turned
  • On 'go!', (A) - who is facing away from (B) - throws in the air to themself (or off a wall), catches and turns towards (B)
Passes should be hard and flat
  • (B) makes a late straight lead to receive from (A), then continues progress by passing to leading (C).
Don't lead too early, just 3 or 4 steps
    Use sound two-handed catch technique
  • All players lead, receive, pivot and pass until the final player receives. Final player throws off a wall or performs a (1-2) pass with off-court coach/sub which they catch on baseline.
  • Return the ball up-court in a similar fashion.
  • If you're racing, optionally (or as a progression) require a successful a shot on goal to win, in which case last player remains close to the post.
Races can be up-and-back, or just one way.
