  • A smaller 3m square sits inside a larger 10 x 10m set of 8 stations.
  • The pattern is for all players to lead, receive and pass. Passes will alternate: 1) sideways along the outer edge, to 2) diagonally into the inner square
  • (A) passes diagonally to (B) who has lead inside the square
Pass for the player to run onto, rather than stand and wait for
After passing, players join the next station in sequence
Remind players that stations are on the outer 8 cones, never the inner 4.
  • (B) catches, pivots and passes to (C) who remains on the station.
    (B - D - F - H) lead
    (A - C - E - G) do NOT lead
  • Continue in this fashion around the circuit with passes to each player in alphabetic sequence.
Remove the central 4 cones once players are familiar with the pattern, as they can be hazardous.
At any time you can 'reverse!' to make play go back the other way.
  • Progression for advanced teams: Introduce a second ball diagonally opposite to the first.
Players must be aware of the second ball and increase workrate significantly
