    Warm-up drill for sharpening passing skills and taking a high ball.

  • Pair-up, give each a ball. Pair choose worker (A) and feeder (B) who stands 5m away.
  • Worker (A) has the ball and performs a (1-2-3) passing sequence with (B).
    (A to B), (B to A), (A to B).
  • (A) runs behind (B) then turns sharply 180 degrees. (B) lobs a high ball - set to land near (A)'s starting point - which (A) leaps to catch
    (B) must throw a correctly weighted pass to challenge (A)
    (A) lands for quick passing back to feeder
  • (A) works for 30-45 seconds, then rotate roles and repeat.
  • Progression: Feeder (B) can start lobbing wide (left / right) to challenge (A)
